2012학년도 가을학기 수강신청 관련사항 안내

2012학년도 가을학기 개설교과목에 대한 수강신청 방법 및 절차에 대해 아래와 같이 안내합니다.

(정원제한이 있는 과목의 수강신청 개선사항 ▶정원초과자 신청제한에서 전산추첨으로 변경)

 1. 수강신청 기간 : 2012. 5. 7(월) ～ 5. 14(월)

 <1차> 5. 7(월) 12:30 ~ 23:59 (수강정원 제한 없이 모든 과목 수강신청 가능)

 ※ 5. 8(화)은 수강신청을 할 수 없음.

5. 9(수) 12:00시 이전에 수강 확정자 발표

▶수강정원을 초과한 과목에 대하여 전산으로 선별작업 및 수강확정자 발표(Portal 공지)

<2차> 5월 9일(수) 12:30 ~ 5월 14일(월) 23:59 (잔여 과목에 대한 수강신청)

 2. 신청방법 : Portal - 학사시스템 으로 수강신청 가능.

 3. 시스템 개방시간

<1차> : 5월 7일(월) 12:30 ~ 23:59

<2차> : 5월 9일(수) 12:30 ~ 5월 14일(월) 23:59 (잔여 과목에 대한 수강신청)

 4. 수강신청 장소 : Web이 실행되는 모든 곳

 5. 수강신청 절차

1) 수강예정과목 선정

◦ Portal 홈페이지 (http://portal.kaist.ac.kr) ⇒ 학사시스템 ⇒ 개설과목조회

2) Web 수강신청 : http://portal.kaist.ac.kr ⇒ 학사시스템

3) 신청완료 후 신청내역 Hard copy 출력

4) Hard copy한 인쇄용지는 지도교수의 승인을 받아 해당 학과/전공 사무실에 제출

(무학과 학생은 학적팀에 제출)

 6. 대상 : 재학생(학․석․박사과정)

 7. 기타

가. 2012학년도 가을학기 강의시간표(학과/전공별 개강과목)는 아래 주소에서 확인할 수 있음.

나. 2012학년도 가을학기 중간 및 기말고사의 시험시간표는 신규 수업“Time Slot"편성표에 의거

강의시간에 대응하여 시험실시 요일 및 시간대를 지정․편성하였으니 참고하시기 바람.

다. 1차 수강확정자(수강정원 초과과목)는 수강신청기간 내에 취소 할 수 없음.

(단, 수강변경 기간에는 자유롭게 변경 및 취소가 가능 함).

Registration Guide for the 2012 Fall Semester

2012 fall semester registration procedure and methods are as follows:

(Improvement - change from previous limitation of registration to random electronic selection - made to the registration procedure for courses with enrollment ceilings.)

 1. Registration period : May 7, 2012(Mon) ~ May 14(Mon)

<1st period> 12:30 ~ 23:59 on May 7(Mon) (Open enrollment without ceilings for all the courses)

※ May 8(Tue) : No registration is possible

final student lists for the courses will be announced before 12:00, May 9(Wed)

▶Students will be randomly selected for the courses that exceed their enrollment ceilings; final student lists for the courses will be announced.(on portal)

<2nd period> 12:30 on May 9(Wed) ~ 23:59 on May 14(Mon)

(Students may register for the remaining courses)

2. Use : Portal - Academic System

3. The system opens

<1st> from 12:30 to 23:59 on May 7(Mon)

<2nd> 12:30 on May 9(Wed) ~ 23:59 on May 14(Mon)

(Students may register for the remaining courses)

4. Venues : Anywhere students get access to Web

5. Registration procedure

1) Choose classes from the lists

◦ Portal(http://portal.kaist.ac.kr) ⇒ Academic System ⇒ Opening courses

2) Web registration : http://portal.kaist.ac.kr ⇒ Academic System

3) Print out the completed registration form

4) Obtain guidance professor's signature and submit the form to the Department/Division office

(Students under the undeclared major system should submit the form to the Academic Registrar's Team)

6. Registration is open for all current students(Undergraduates, Master's and Ph.D. students)

7. Miscellaneous

A. 2012 fall semester course schedule(Courses offered by Department/Division) can be found

* on Portal(http://portal.kaist.ac.kr) ⇒ Academic System ⇒ Courses ⇒ Opening courses

B. Mid term and final exams for the 2012 fall semester will be scheduled according to the new “Time Slot" course table: exam dates and times are arranged based on the course schedule.

C. Students included in the final lists (of the courses exceed their enrollment ceilings) can not cancel the courses during the registration period.

(However, during the Add/drop period, students may change or cancel their classes.)
