Dr. Sol-Moi Park (Advisor professor Haeng-Ki Lee) from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at KAIST has received the "Ministry of Education award" at BK21 Plus excellent researcher awards.

This event, organized by Ministry of Education and National Research Foundation of Korea, was held to encourage talented researchers with outstanding research achievements, including graduate students and researchers who are involved in BK21 Plus. 

A total of 33 winners have published their papers as the primary authors in the world's renowned scientific journals and expanded their research areas by actively performing academic collaborations with international distinguished scholars.

In particular, Dr. Park has published 15 papers on SCI or SCI(E) journals and successfully conducted 4 international joint research projects during 3 years and 4 months as a member of 'Creative Infrastructure System Technology' group.

Dr. Park's current research area covers the development of cementitious materials for extreme conditions, thermodynamic modelling of alternative cementitious materials and charaterization of cementitiious materials.
