The Advanced Environmental Materials (AEM) laboratory is conducting research to pioneer innovative water treatment and resource recovery technologies using nano-scale organic and inorganic materials. Our research targets the efficient production of ultra-high-purity water, successful implementation of zero-liquid-discharge (ZLD) in seawater desalination and industrial wastewater treatment, and effective recovery of
valuable resources from wastewaters to establish sustainable environmental systems.
