Urban Robotics Lab. aims at constructing smart and sustainable environment in the future ubiquitous city (u-City) by focusing on the development of fusion technologies between IT and civil engineering. IT-based civil engineering research fields include infrastructure inspection robot, localization and autonomous robot navigation in u-City, 3D monitoring of infrastructure, u-City management robot, etc. Our lab. will broaden our research field to ubiquitous robotic infrastructure design, intelligent construction automatic and robot, and evolutionary robotics to lead the high-tech civil engineering.
