Climate change is one of the greatest threats facing humanity. In addition to global warming, the increase in the intensity/frequency of extreme weather events and changes in the climate system are having various impacts on ecosystems, health, food security, economy, and society. Accordingly, the Climate System Lab conducts multi-faceted research on the impact of increased greenhouse gases on the climate system. In particular, we pursue interdisciplinary research and also study climate change adaptation and mitigation measures such as climate engineering.
