As of today(Dec 19, 2011), KAIPA(The Academic System for Students) is renewed as 'Academic System' by being integrated with CAIS2.0 which is used only for the faculty and staff.

Because of the openning works, this system can be unstable until 10 a.m.

Academic System provides services to students, faculty and staff for managing Academic Affairs.

To access this system, please log in to KAIST Portal(https://portal.kaist.ac.kr), and click the ‘Academic System’ menu from the quick menus.

To use the Notice of Payment(including tuition fees) menu which was linked at the KAIPA main screen, please log in to Academic System, and select the Payment-related menus.

Access to the KAIPA Domain(http://kaipa.kaist.ac.kr) will be possible until Jan 31, 2012. After that, please connect to the KAIST Portal(https://portal.kaist.ac.kr).

For Faculty and Staff, the login method of CAIS2.0 was using the ID and Password of the Email System. However it is changed to SSO(Single Sign On) which uses Portal ID and Password. Therefore please be careful for not confusing it.
